An experience can be good or bad. However, throughout my Internship, I made some mistakes and sometimes I did well, but no matter the situation, I got up, asked questions, and used my common sense to figure out certain things. Overall, I feel like following directions is something that I did very well, and asking questions because I know that by asking, I learn many things. Not only do I learn one thing, but that thing comes out with many details that may or may not benefit my knowledge. Personally, I think that I wouldn’t change anything because I think I have done enough, such as; talking to my colleagues and feeling comfortable, helping out clients and answering phone calls on my own. I feel like I did everything necessary to end successfully my Internship experience. Something that truly stands out to me is how everyone at the office was willing to help me out everyday. I think that these people are great and deserve respect for their humility and for the support they give each other. I will definitely be missing this experience so much !

To the future Interns, the advice that I would consider giving is, to pick something that you are truly passionate about. Sometimes things get really boring when we don’t like it, however, when we like a subject, we will enjoy and learn a lot from the experience. It does not matter what you want to be as long as you enjoy it. Personally I think that in order to be successful, you must be determined. One is always going to fall, and they’re always going people who will criticize us, but we have to get up and try again until we know we got it. It’s very important to always get back up and find the solution to the problem. In school or at home, we will face obstacles, and as i’ve mentioned, we have to find the solution to it. Eventually, we can compare those obstacles to future ones and use the same skills to find the solution to them. However, being determined is important and it also benefits many individuals.
My way of thinking towards college hasn't changed much. However, most of my teachers have always told me to join a 4 year college right after college, on the other hand community college wouldn’t sound bad because I can take classes for a cheaper price and I won’t have to worry about those classes anymore. Actually, an interest that I’ve thought about and that keeps coming back, is to get a my degree on business. I think that most of the time, people talk business and I think that by having that experience, I will be able to communicate properly with many people. They were all very nice with me and when I needed help, they gave it to me. I truly appreciate Mr. Rodriguez for correcting me in my mistakes and for never leaving me without something to eat. Everyday he would take me out to different restaurants to try different food. I am also thankful for my colleague Maria because my job as an Intern was very similar to hers, so when ever I was confused, she helped me out and didn’t hesitate to say no. I learned to appreciate every opportunity that I am given to learn, because they alway turn into experiences. Overall, I appreciate how Mr. Rodriguez took his time to teach me about many things throughout this Internship. I will never forget what I’ve learned at my Internship !
As I’ve mentioned before that there is only four people working at Internship Site. However they all have something that makes each Individual unique. Of course I’ve learned so much from Mr. Rodriguez. A characteristic that I would like to develop from Mr. Rodriguez is to not get the feelings confused with reality. He is always comforting things as they are, and always says the truth in every situation. His job is not comfort people but to snap them into the reality of what the law is. I think that is a great quality to have because unfortunately we are controlled by a government that doesn’t really care about our feelings and we have to be ready for any situation without getting hurt. Mr. Rodriguez has made me open my eyes very much. Honestly, all I would think about was about my future and having a great career. Throughout this Internship Mr. Rodriguez has taught me about, free marketing, scholarships, economy, etc. I think that thanks to this lessons, I am more open minded, I ask more questions, and I think a little further to the situation. I believe that Internship has really influenced my career path because I have figured out that this job isn’t as tough, I personally think it’s all about time management, organization, and most important, patience.

For my presentation on Friday, I am planning to use flash cards and I will be using google slide to present. However, I already know what I am going to be talking about during my presentation. I wrote bullet points down, and as I go through every slide I will just be adding more details to the information on the screen. At the end of the presentation I will be asking the audience If they have any question for me, and I will be trying my best to answer those questions because some questions can be very unexpected. I really did appreciate the time that Mr. Rodriguez made to educate me. I know that Most of the time he is very busy and for him to share some of his work time with me, is something that I will always value. Overall, I feel Like I have made a fair contribution to the workplace. When Mr. Rodriguez was with a client I would ask Maria or Mr. Estolano If they needed any help. Thankfully, they did and I kept myself busy throughout the day. Throughout this Internship the role of communication has been very important In many ways. Everything Is always organized at the office, so when something is misplaced, we have to ask our colleagues if they’ve seen what we’re looking for. Mr. Rodriguez Is always working with Mr. Estolano's clients and he definitely needs the files In order to finish his work, sometimes I’m the one who looks for it. If I don’t find it I either ask Maria or Mr. Estolano about it. Another form that communication is used in my Internship is when I answer the office incoming phone calls. I have to be able to listen to the clients, ask questions, and ANSWER their questions. This is important because I’ve answered calls from clients that are desperate to know about their case and I need to know how to handle each Individual's attitude. Communication will always be Important at my Internship because we are always working with clients, and by speaking, people understand each other ! For My project I had to do an agreement for a divorce. Basically, I have to write down detail by detail; what both parties are asking for, how many children are in the marriage, what type of property they own, credit cards, etc. This agreement is essentially an “agreement” on how the parties have decided to end. This agreement is a 50 page process of all the little details from, child support to the property bought during the marriage. Throughout this process I have learned that I am a good listener and I’ve improved In my vocabulary. Overall, I feel like it’s been a great opportunity to use the skills I am good at and to Improve In those skills as well.
My Internship work and my school work is somehow similar. In both sites I am given a task and I am responsible to finish it, however if I need help, my mentor gives me that help and so do my teachers. The most different thing from internship and school is that, I get to Interact more with my mentor than what I do with my teachers. I believe that It’s a good thing to interact with my mentor because he’s an influence to my future and by getting the privilege to talk to him about different topics, makes me feel comfortable about my career decision. Usually, when I’m at Internship, I feel like my day goes by really fast. I honestly didn’t feel like 3 weeks that just passed. When I’m at school I feel like my days go by, really slow. Truthfully, I am enjoying this Internship, and I have learned many beneficial things. This Internship is definitely helping me in many aspects, such as to think further to a situation. My work as an intern is meaningful to my education because I know that I will eventually use these skills soon or later t school. Not only will I use these skills at school, but I can always use them at home or just anywhere I go. I believe that my whole Internship was basically a life experience. Throughout this month I've learned so much and I think that all these little details can help in many ways. For example, I've learned how to use different printers. Eventually In school they're used all the time and I can always help out a classmate that is confused on what to do. I will definitely take with me many skills that I used and improved In this Internship. Anything that I learned can somehow be very helpful In different occasions. They're so many things that I've experienced, that I'm sure I will have to sit with someone for 20 minutes to just explain everything I've learned and done at this Internship !
